"We want to live life like Jesus did. Crazy-cool supernatural stuff, done by real people, in real life places." The Youth Network is made up of youth from grade 7 right through to grade 12. We get together each week for worship, services, socials and cells. Our vision is to see Youth grow in their personal relationship with God and walk in character, integrity and identity in everyday situations.
We believe that cell groups are the building point for our Youth ministry. A cell group is where youth get together to do three main things: Build relationship, Grow together and Evangelize. Most cells meet up in coffee shops or local restaurants and all of them are open for new people each week. They last from one hour to an hour in a half and are a great mid-week opportunity to build relationships. A cell group has a youth leader who is available to connect you to the rest of the church and teach you how to live life God’s way. You’ve also got people to be friends with, and a place to express yourself and be accepted just as you are. That’s why cells are so powerful, because they’re a place where you can be yourself!
On Friday nights we focus on building relationship with each other while also having opportunity to connect with God. We begin at 7pm with hangout in our Youth Room (Upper Rooms 5 & 6 at the Airport Campus). We play pool, rockband and foozball; all the while chatting and getting to know each other more. Then, at 8pm, we head over the parking lot to the Firehall where we have worship, speaking and ministry; asking God to come and encounter us. On Sunday mornings we focus on extended worship and teaching time, while still having time to connect relationally with each other. This is a great time to catch up with friends, have lots of fun, eat some doughnuts and most of all encounter God. We start off at 11am in the Firehall. We have worship lead by our youth worship teams, time to connect over drinks and doughnuts and a weekly message that works for youth. It is our desire to see all youth grounded in God's word and walking in God’s love. Our meetings are a time of building relationships, hearing God's voice and imparting practical wisdom and encouragement. Our weekly services begin Sunday mornings at 11:00am and Friday Nights at 7:30pm. Putting a high value on worship we encourage our youth to participate in worshiping with the Catch the Fire Ajax youth worship team each Friday night. We focus highly on worship, teaching and ministry. We love to hangout and connect with each other - building relationships is something that we strongly believe in. There are some muffins and doughnuts before the service to enjoy. The Service starts at 10:30 in the Main Auditorium with worship to get us into the presence of God. After that, the Youth move to our Hangout Room for some more fun, a chance to connect with each other and most importantly a teaching & some ministry time. Catch the Fire Brampton youth meet on Sunday mornings at 11:30am; after worship and announcements in the main service. Our time together focuses on going deeper into God's love and discovering His heart and destiny for us and those around us while building relationship with one another. This is the perfect place not only to be challenged to grow spiritually, but also to share your revelations and your 'ultimate ninja' skills. Come on out and join us! We are the youth of Catch the Fire and we are fun, crazy and we LOVE God! We come together, from all walks of life, to worship Him. As a diverse group of youth from grades 7-12, we believe in community and building relationships. Every week we grow and learn together through the teachings of our incredible leadership team. We are being equipped to be confident, bold, young men and women of God in our every day lives. Our leaders strive to ignite a hunger and a passion in the youth’s hearts to spread the love of God to others. We meet on the couches after worship at 11:30am and spend some time together.
