Operation Makeover

Thank you to all of you who contributed to our 2009 project "Raise the Roof".  Our goal was to replace the flat portion of our roof.  The cost for the roof was estimated at $350,000 CDN and we were able to reach our goal and pay cash to the contractor!  God provided for us in many ways for this project to help raise the funds.  First, we had a hail storm in May which caused severe damage to the roof air conditioning and heating units.  Our insurance coverage paid for this damage and we were able to replace the units at the same time as the roof was being done saving us the cost of moving the units.  Dale Blease, a contractor who attends TACF North volunteered his time to serve as the general contractor for the project saving us money!  Apex, the company doing the work, has been very helpful and have provided services above the contract providing us with a better quality roof than we paid for!  Plus, many of you who gave to Raise the Roof have your own story of how God gave you money for this project!

This year our project is called "Operation Makevover."  We have 3 primary projects; to repair the green portion of our roof which is rusting and leaking, to redo the set part of our stage, and to make our House of Prayer room 24 hour accessible.

We are estimating that these projects will require $500,000.  Our challenge to our friends and supports is this; we are looking for 500 people to ask God to supernaturally provide them an extra $1000 to help fund Operation Makeover.  We already have a starting gift from a member of TACF for $50,000!  As the money comes in, we will begin the work.  Our intent is to only spend what comes in and to pay cash.
