Thursday July 28 1983 at 12:01pm Benjamin Kennedy was born in Peel Memorial
Hospital in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. Ben is a part of Steve & Sandra
Long’s cell and pastors an awesome group of youth in Grades 7 thru 12 (as
the Youth pastor). Part of the fun for Ben is seeing young people raised up
and grabbing hold of the destiny God has for them and to teach and equip
them to run with it. Even better is that he doesn't do it alone. Ben has
an amazing team that supports him and volunteers time to impart into the
lives of the youth. From the Freshwind Youth conference, various social
events, sleepovers, weekly meetings, cells, missions and camp, there's
plenty of fun to be had.
Ben currently works at TACF in the Youth Network Offices and spending time
learning the ways of God and his heart. Ben describes revival at TACF as
being a "growing experience" for him since he has been a part of TACF since
early 1992 and in that time has been a part of various missions to
Mozambique, South Africa, Ukraine, Russia, Australia, Ecuador, Romania,
Europe, Italy, the United States and Canada.
When some of the youth (aged 13-20) were asked to describe Ben they used the
following statements: "Ben is big and friendly." "Ben has money." "Ben is
fun loving and has a passion for God." "Ben has a face only a mother could
love." "He is respected." "Ben is so animated he's contagious." "Ben is
crazy like a fox." "Ben likes God so much it hurts my teeth.
